Dawn grew up in Northern Virginia, the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She attended Randolph-Macon Military Academy where she earned the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. Upon graduation, she ventured off to attend George Mason University, where she earned her degree in Hospitality. She moved to Southwest Florida in 2001 to pursue her hospitality career. As a hospitality-driven person, she later found another career where she could help people differently. That was in dentistry.
Dawn entered dentistry in 2003 as a dental assistant. She grew a new fondness for dentistry and decided to pursue education in dentistry further. She entered the Dental Hygiene program at Florida Southwestern State College to obtain her degree in Dental Hygiene. From there, her passion for helping, communicating, and educating patients has been her top priority. For Dawn, this is important because she knows that oral health is connected to overall health.
As a clinician, her ultimate goal is for every patient to be comfortable and confident about their oral hygiene and oral health. Dawn is happily married with two wonderful boys. In her spare time, she thoroughly enjoys spending time with family.
